Oedema
Oedema is the name of a body condition when there is a fluid retention which usualy causes swelling that occurs in different body parts and organs. As well as skin swelling, oedema can also lead to other problems like discolouration of the skin, aching, stiff joints, weight gain or loss, high blood pressure and pulse rate. Oedema occurs when the normal balance of fluid intake and output in the human body is disturbed.
